Way back in April the lovely Mary and Andrea from The Ribbon Girl contacted me and asked if I would like to be GDT in July and (like anyone needed asking twice) I jumped in with a quick yes please!

here we go again with another sweet Tilda

Tilda makes a blanket

I've been waiting for Magnolia to bring out a sewing Tilda as I bought these cute little cotton reels in America last year and I've been waiting to use them, I dabbed a bit of glue on the reel and added some cross stitch silks to them, don't they look colourful :o)

of course I had to do a small piece of cross stitching too. 

flowers & papers are edged with Stickles glitter

 ideal time to use these scissors charm too :o)

Me and my Props :o)

Good evening to you my dear crafting buddies,

I hope you are all fit and well.

I was lucky to have my new Tilda's arrive yesterday and so I've been doing more painting :o)

or should I say practicing lol

Anyway this little sweetie is Tilda with lovely jam from the new turning leaves collection.

I used diestress reinkers to paint Tilda

Well you know I love my props lol and this time I've used this cute little wooden plant pot, my Daughter sent them from the States she bought them in Michaels, so I've coloured it with a copic pen and added little flowers. The papers are of course Pion design, yellow pansy For Mother collection

The wrapped so lovely heart tag has been embossed with a flower and sanded.

The pretty seam binding running down the left here and the spotted cross grain ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.

Tuesdays Card ~ For Mum

Good morning,

 Hope you are well today. 

I wanted to make a card with no image for a change, this is another criss cross card 

 for a lovely Mum 

I've had these beautiful Hydrangeas for ages so thought I'd make use of them, in the center of each flower is a little silver plated bead cap which I've added a pearl.

The gorgeous blue crinkle ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and so is the birdcage charm & button twine.

The papers are Pion, the heart tag as you know is the Magnolia wrapped so lovely heart which I've embossed with the swiss dots folder.

The sentiment is from Pink Petticoat and I've stamped my favourite flower stamp in the corner and coloured it with copics.

This is just a quickie post 

This is Tilda with peaches but with a slight change, I needed them to be apples to match lol does it look okay?

I'm really enjoying this painting with distress reinkers, it's so relaxing I forget about making cards for a day and just get carried away painting for hours instead :o)

Here come the boys

The die cuts have all been cut from cardboard, put through a ribbler and painted with Tim Holtz crackle paint.

I hope you are well and are having better weather than I am, it's bucketing down here again, I can't believe it ONE nice day and we have to pay for it with wet weather again.

Oh well at least it's sunny in my craft room :o)

This little Tilda was the first Tilda I ever bought back in 2009 I thought she was so cute, I didn't realise at the time just how much money I would end up spending on Tilda's as my obsession grew, but I just love them they are a pleasure to colour and paint.

No space for photo's

Good evening dear Crafters,
 Have you been getting the message about no space for photo's?
I have, so I've been looking for a solution, at first I thought I would have to pay for extra space but luckily nooooo!
I was directed to Carol of Brum's Blog Apples & Pears which was very helpful, she has a post about making space and a few lovely friends have helped me too along the way (Thank you girls)
 Here's what to do (if you have the same problem)

Open Picasa (you can just google it, that's what I did and mine instantly came up) 

There you will see your albums of your photos,

choose an album by clicking on it

click on any one photo in that album

select 'actions' from above

go down to edit in creative kit

select resize from the left hand side

fill in the boxes 800 x 800 (sometimes the second set of numbers fill in by themselves)

click on save to my album

then on replace

...all done! 

It's worked for me I have just freed up space which was full, from 99.99% to 76%
and I am doing a few albums a day, so no need to delete any photos, just down size them.

Tilda with Summer Flower

Good evening folks

I have had a bit of a shopping day today and not crafty shopping, I've been to town twice and I'm so tired out now I could fall asleep sitting up, so if I make any spelling mistakes please excuse them lol.

I've made this card using Tilda with Summer flower, yes another distress painted Tilda, I can't stop now, I'm really getting into the swing of it!

 I used Grandma's old school book papers by Pion, (love these) gorgeous soft gold lace from Michaels, Magnolia Tag die, thin gold ribbon, gold pearls and gold stickles glitter, Martha Stewart butterfly punch and doily edge border punch, pretty cherry blossom & lillies from WOC.
