The Ribbon Girl Card Challenge ~ Ribbons

Good morning,

 it's time for The September Card Challenge at The Ribbon Girl today and we are using Ribbon.

As you know The Ribbon Girl has a wonderful choice of ribbons, this is one of my favourites

25mm Cream Berisford Satin Ribbon, Large Bronze Key Charm, Prima Resin Clock, Mixed Dahlia 'Stormy Skies' Flowers, 22mm Ivory Open Weave Lace, Gutterman Top Stitch Thread, 10mm Blue Open Rose and Stardust Stickles. 

The papers are Maja design and the film ribbon is by Tim Holtz

THE RIBBON GIRL CARD CHALLENGE FOR JUNE ~ NUMBERS

Hello and good morning, 

 and welcome June the 1st yeah!

 It's a beautiful day out there the sun is shining beautifully, the sky is blue and all is good aahhhh!

this months challenge is Numbers and as you can see I used clocks, including a Ribbon Girl Clock Charm, I love making cards for Gentlemen with these papers I think they look so classy.

I have used Maja Design papers, layered and stitched

A Creative Romance ~ One for the Boys

Good morning, 

 Just helping out here for the A Creative Romance Challenge today

I used Pion 'For Father' papers, all stitched onto black card and black satin ribbon to finish off

Gents card

Just a quickie post to show you this Gentleman's card I made using Maja papers and these gorgeous goodies from

 The Ribbon Girl 

 Navy Satin Ribbon, Mixed Dahlia Stormy Skies, Darjeeling Mini Mixed Grey/Blue Blossom Flowers, Prima Resin Clocks, Clock Face Charm, Cheesecloth and Gutterman Topstitch Thread.

Tomorrow I am going into hospital to get my ongoing eye problem sorted (hopefully) it will be so nice to have my eyesight back to normal, you've probably noticed I haven't used any coloured images for a while, I haven't been able to see them properly to paint them :(

luckily I have a few older ones in my draft folder to use for upcoming challenges. Also tomorrow is the 6th anniversary of our dear son Jason passing away, a very sad day.

A card for a Gentleman ~ I made this one using those gorgeous Maja papers, 

Navy Satin Ribbon, Hemp Twine, Message in a bottle, Clock charm & little blue/grey blossom from The Ribbon Girl

and Tim Holtz Film Ribbon

I had to do some faux stitching on this one because my sewing machine was having an off day :( 

Over worked I think :)

It's Sunday again....

Good morning Crafters, 

I can't believe how quick the time is going, these challenges are coming and going far too quickly.

It's time once again for the Here Come the Boys challenge and today we are making cards with more than one fold, so I plumped for my favourite at the moment The Criss Cross card (I bet you didn't see that coming lol) I also stamped one of my old faithful Forever Friends bears, I still think these are my favourites, such cute bears.

The sentiments are from the new Wellington bear set of stamps which I've yet to use, I thought this sentiment was lovely for this card.

The papers are from a set I bought back from America the first time I went and have only just opened them (blush)

The gold filigree corners are from WOC and ribbon from Michaels last Christmas collection.

brown pearls are Kort & Godt & gold peals from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, button from my stash.
