MY TOP 5 and A Happy New Year!

I've never done this before so I thought I'd join in with the Top 5 cards of the year 2011
as shown on Debby's blog here

First card has to be Tilda because as you all know I'm addicted to colouring these little beauties!

This one got me in the top 5 at TOMIC so made me feel very proud, she's also the very first Tilda I bought...bet you already knew that :o)

2nd card I'm afraid is another Tilda, I just loved the way this one turned out

This was the first card I made for the Joanna Sheen blog and it bought in a few Christmas orders, I loved the vintage Santa and the red cardinal bird. 

Choosing a Sugar Nellie was extremely difficult I love them all.

but there was something about this one...probably the colours

Last but by no means least is this Whiff of Joy 'Coffee to go'

I love this stamp and the way the card turned out.

Well that's my Top 5 for 2011, I hope you like them.

Good morning, this is my weekly card for  The Stamp Basket, 

 I've made this card using Molly without her sledge 

I've inked up half the stamp and made it a piece of glitter strand in her hand.

Not cards but...my Sons artwork

Good evening all,

 I've been busy making DT cards but can't upload them until the appropriate dates, so I thought I'd share some of my Sons artwork with you, his name is Kieran and he's 18yrs old, I think he's very clever but then I'm a very proud mum lol

this first one he did a couple of years back for GCSE Art

and this one

This one he did in acrylics this year for A level Art

They are all so much better in the flesh (so to speak) I don't think photos do them justice but needless to say he passed his exams and we are proud...

...sshhhh! don't tell him I'm showing off his artwork!

It's a late good morning from me today, my Mum & Dad held their annual Christmas party last night, it's the one evening a year all our families get together, exchange gifts and have a good old laugh, food & drink, it was wonderful! It's when Christmas starts for all of us and a good time was had by all.

 Today is Totally Tilda challenge day and this is the last one of the year, taking us through till the 15th January and it's a nice easy one

A warm glow...

There's a hard frost outside today and it's so cold but I'm not grumbling I know there's parts of the country who have it an awful lot worse than we do and I really do feel for you so keep warm and safe dear friends...
My card for today will hopefully give you a warm glow of warmer days to come, this is a Faye Whittaker  stamp called 'Lifebouy' from the All our yesterdays collection of stamps, I used to cross stitch all these gorgeous little images of summertime before I got into card making. This is my first stamp from the range and I intend to buy many more.
