Another criss cross card from me today.
This one I made with Maja papers

With two tags inside this cute (die) envelope

I used a pale Silver colour Satin Ribbon, Blanche Lace, Floral Heart Charm, Gold Metallic Twine, Rebecca Lace, Ivory Roses, all from The Ribbon Girl

other roses & buds were from WOC

LILAC MAGIC CARD

New Stash Challenge

Let's see what crafty stash you had for Christmas :)

I have to admit I didn't get a lot of crafty stash, I did however get a lot of money to spend

which apart from a new coat & bath robe (which I needed) I did buy some crafty stash with it too. 

So here's some of my new crafty stash ~ Chrysanthemums, Dusky Rose Ribbon, Gertrude Lace and Mulberry Paper for my leaves, I know I've used these goodies before but they are some of my favourite things so I restocked :)

GENTLEMAN CARD

Good Evening :)

A card for a Gentleman ~ I made this one using those gorgeous Maja papers, 

Navy Satin Ribbon, Hemp Twine, Message in a bottle, Clock charm & little blue/grey blossom from The Ribbon Girl

and Tim Holtz Film Ribbon

I had to do some faux stitching on this one because my sewing machine was having an off day :( 

Over worked I think :)

Let it Snow...

Good afternoon Crafters

This is my fourth Scrapbooking page, I must say I am really enjoying making these, this one is my two lovely Grandsons building a snowman.

I've used this fabulous Sketch again from Blue Fern Studios and this time I have remembered to use on of the Blue Fern Studios Chipboard pieces, they are beautiful this one is called Royal Border Chipboard and I've painted it white with Guesso paint.

I used the colours from this mood board, the lovely Blues, Aquas and Whites with a little Natural texture thrown in by using burlap, I think I would love to do a Beach scene as well, maybe my next one :)

You're the Sunshine in my garden...

Good afternoon lovely crafters,

 how are you today? 

I have been busy scrapbooking again, it's getting really addictive. This time I've made one of myself and my lovely daughter when she was a little girl. (Lots of pics)

I used this gorgeous sketch from Blue Fern Studios

I really enjoyed making this one, with all it's pretty garden things.

I used Pion papers, inked the edges and distressed them using the TH distressing tool and then I used a little guesso paint around the edges. I did the same with the photo and other layered papers. I made the chain for the birdcage from metal spacers

From The Ribbon Girl I used all these gorgeous goodies 

 38mm Rose Pink Silky Crush Ribbon, 32mm Champagne Pure Silk Ribbon, Pearl Trim Lace, 50mm Emily Embroidered Tulle Lace, 8mm Rebecca Ivory Vintage Lace, 20mm Cream Deep Scallop Edwina Lace, 2 Resin Doves, Wooden Heart Button, Daisy-May with Flowers Charm and Natural Button Twine, 

and the wooden Birdcage was from Live & Love Crafts. I die-cut two hearts, one from Burlap and the other from Cross Stitch aida and placed them round the photo. The tiny butterflies were cut using Martha Stewart punch

MERRY CHRISTMAS TILDA

Not long till Santa arrives :)

Oh come on it'll go quicker than you think lol.

It's Sunday the 5th January and today is the first challenge of 2014 at 

Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia

and today the challenge is Anything goes

I got carried away with my embossing on this one, as you can see I embossed the Jingle bells, the winter cones, the berries and the poinsettias, I think I just wanted to use a lot of gold :)
I used Pion papers, gold pearl string and gold stickles glitter.
The lovely Bethany lace, Rusty Jingle Bells & Hemp Twine were from The Ribbon Girl

2nd Scrapbook Page ~ My Mum

You may remember back in 2012 I made my first Scrapbook page here

well I've been wanting to make another ever since but not got around to it, until yesterday :)

I made this one for my lovely Mum

I was inspired to make this by a wonderfully talented lady name Gabrielle, who has the most fabulous blog, her scrapbook pages and cards are so beautiful.
I used the sketch from one of her beautiful pages to make this one, unfortunately the light has caught on the photo when I took this, but I'm quite pleased with how it's turned out.

I've used Maja papers, some burlap my daughter sent me and all these goodies from
 The Ribbon Girl
22mm Edwina Cream Deep Scallop Lace, Bethany Guipure Lace, Hemp Twine, Darjeeling grey/blue Blossom and Mixed Dahlia Eastern Spice, The Blues Self Adhesive Flatback Pearls and Cheesecloth.

I just love this Edwina lace and the Pure Silk Ribbon in Champagne colour is one of my favourites too, also from The Ribbon Girl they go so well together with these pretty Pion papers.

A Creative Romance Challenge ~ Something New

I had a few of these New Baby Stamps by Lili of the Valley for Christmas, the lace & tulips are new too. 

I've used Maja papers, Tim Holtz film ribbon, Kort & Godt Pearls.

And from The Ribbon Girl I used Little blossom Flowers, Baby shoe charm, Tulips, Cosmos Daisy, Darjeeling Pink Blossom.

GDT at CRAFTING MUSKETEERS

A while ago I met a lovely lady name Sharon on facebook and she introduced me to a few lovely crafty sites on there, where we share our card making ideas & tips and chat away happily, anyway Sharon asked me if I would like to be a Guest Designer on 

Crafting Musketeers to which I happily agreed.

Their new challenge is Grunge so I hope I've done this right :)
