The Ribbon Girl ~ Just for the Kids

Hello and good morning Crafters

The Ribbon Girl have a spectacular challenge starting today, this time it's 

Just for the Kids!

We know lots of you like to make cards or do various other crafts when your Mums, Aunties, Grandmas, Nannas, carers and big sisters and so on are making cards or colouring in,

 so this is a special challenge JUST FOR KIDS!

You can make anything type of project (check out The Ribbon Girl Blog for the full details)

The challenge will run from 11am Sunday 15th December until 9pm on Saturday 28th December.

There will be 3 prizes of crafty goodies and the challenge will be judged by 3 UK crafters:

The winners will have their project displayed on The Ribbon Girl blog, on The Ribbon Girl Facebook Page and on the front page of The Ribbon Girl online store website on New years Day, 1st January 2014

It's Saturday!

Hello and good morning 

It's my lovely Mums birthday today, so I'm off down to see her shortly.

Thank you for your lovely comments on my cards the last few days, I've had so many in my draft folder I thought it was time they were blogged.

This one was made using the Pion papers called Alma's Sewing room

The Sewing Machine Charm, Ruffle Edge Ribbon, Button Twine, Pearl Trim, Emily Lace, Starburst White Stamen, Gutterman Top Stitch Thread, Chrysanthemums, Cherry Blossom & Roses are all from The Ribbon Girl

Oh I made these yesterday for our Christmas table, they match our table settings perfectly I'm so pleased with them I had to share

I used my dear friend Vicki's tutorial for making little bag-a-lopes from envelopes, then decorated them with doilies, roses, leaves, metallic twine and silver embossed the little tags from LOTV.

Winter Wonderland at LHOSM

I've used these beautiful Pion papers and added plenty of Stickles Stardust to the snow around the church grounds.
Lovely hanging Velvet embellishment from Live & Love Crafts.
I've also used Blue Faux Silk Ribbon, Diamante Heart Buckle Slide, Stickles Stardust, Blue Roses, White Lily and Berries from The Ribbon Girl 
My Snowflakes have stickles on them too

Midweek Magnolias

Hello and Good morning

It's time for another challenge at Midweek Magnolias

(My goodness that went fast)

This fortnights theme is I'm dreaming of a white Christmas

(Any Magnolia Tilda or Edwin with snow, or snow on your project)

I've used Tilda with snow heart, painted in distress reinkers and added Stickles Glitter
