Cheesecloth and here comes Summer

Good evening,
I'm back again and this time I bring with me...Summer (of the Sugar Nellie kind)sorry I'm not in charge of the weather or we would always have summer lol.
I have seen loads of gorgeous cards made using cheesecloth so I just had to buy some and give it a whirl, I'm quite pleased with how it's turned out.

Hello yes me again (so soon) I just wanted to blog this card for a challenge if I have time. It's the lovely Fizzy Moon again, this time with bright Magnolia new papers, decorated inside & out, with lots of stitching and I've used tulle that I cut into circles with nesties and placed between the flowers, hope you like it.

Two new Tildas

Hello,
Just wanted to share with you my two new Tildas I made these yesterday afternoon, the top one is Tilda celebrates midsummer and the bottom one is Tilda digging. I've used Magnolia & Nitwit papers & Magnolia tag & lovely fence die, lace & mix flowers. The tag on the second one is a sizzix die.

Sugar Nellie Flora

Good afternoon,
First full day in the house this week and Ooh I have had a busy day crafting, it's been fun!
First I made this Sugar Nellie Flora card, I love this image she's so pretty.
Just for a change I dug out some old vintage looking papers by DCWV called The Luxury Stack, I haven't used these in ages and thought it was time to give them an airing lol, I've used Wild orchid crafts roses & gypsophilia and a couple of Kort & Godt beaded roses (cream) the metal filigree corners are from Wild orchids too and Kort & Godt half pearls. As you can see the inside is also made to match the front

A Trio of Tags!

Good morning Ladies & Gents
A big day for me today, I’m now officially a
DT member on Totally Tilda, got my tags on show over there and everything lol,
Isn’t it weird when you see your work on another blog for the first time?
I would like to say a massive thanks to Susie and the girls for having me on their team I’m really honoured, they make you so welcome and they are such a laugh.
As I said today is the new challenge at Totally Tilda and this week it’s
‘A Trio of Tags’
here’s my tags, I enjoyed making these it was a nice change from making cards too.
I used the Magnolia Tag die, I stamped out three Tildas, coloured them with copics and used nestabilities to make small head & shoulder pictures of them, then just added small embellishments to finish.

Sugar Nellie Flora

Good afternoon dear blogging friends,
Sugar Nellie have done it again, another superb digi stamp, as soon as I saw this the other day I had to have it, isn't she gorgeous, so sweet and beautiful to colour.
I've used the Tim Holtz papers again (my favs) and I stamped that pretty flowers & bow in the corner, I love that little stamp, worth every penny of the 99p I paid for it lol.
I used Bazzil cardstock, Wildorchid flowers & rosebuds, Kort & Godt pearls,
Magnolia sentiment & paper doily from one my favourite sellers on ebay (see left sidebar) I also decorated the inside to match.

Such a proud moment :o)

Just over a year ago when I started my blog I did nothing but upload a card or two a month, being a little afraid of the computer and blogland itself I waited, then at the start of 2011 I decided to take the plunge and really throw myself into blogging and challenges...excitedly I won my very first challenge which was really thrilling not just because of winning a great prize but the fact that it was a Tilda challenge! and if you know anything about me you know I adore Tilda, it was the Totally Tilda challenge Blog. Just a couple of months later (this last weekend) I was contacted by the lovely, jolly Susie Sugar (The Boss!) and she asked me if I would like to join the team (WOW!) Imagine the excitment, it felt like christmas to me, it took all of 5 seconds for me to reply and say YES! So I am now a very proud Design Team member of Totally Tilda Challenge Blog!!!! Yeah!!!!
