Vintage Card

Good morning lovely Crafters, how are you today?
I made this card over the weekend, I won't pretend to be any good at making Vintage style cards but I do enjoy having a go, just to try something different.

I used the beautiful Pion papers as always and
these Ribbon Girl goodies;
20mm 'Angelica' Ivory tulle lace, Pearl string, Vintage pink fluted edge sheer organza ribbon, Kort & Godt Chrysanthemums & Beaded rose, Beaded berries, Hip rose buds Ivory and Blossom flowers.

Challenges;
The Cutie Pie Challenge ~ Lots of Layers

Hope you like it, thank you for all your lovely comments on my last card I really do appreciate you taking the time to comment.
~~~~~~~~
I was feeling a little low after chatting to my lovely Grandsons on skype yesterday, as much as I love seeing them it breaks my heart they are so far away, what I wouldn't give for a cuddle with them.
This morning I woke up to find I won a gorgeous candy on Elaine's blog,  oh my goodness it's all my favourite things too, you can imagine how much it cheered me up.
Thank you so much Elaine xxx
See you all later,
hugs
Aw Teresa, that must be hard for you, when your family are so far away, they will be missing you too. Skype is a marvelous invention in that it helps that you can see your grandchildren, some small comfort.
But your card is gorgeous, I love the image and it is beautifully designed, all your little embellishments are so lovely, HUGS kate x
Fabulous card Teresa.
I know it's hard being away from family but nowadays with viber,skype and facetime everything is so much different. When I lived in America 30 years ago none of those things were available and calls were dreadfully expensive - I might as well have lived on the moon it seemed so far away - it was only letters that took a week to arrive.
The vintage themed card is just gorgeous, love that delicate lace, looks as though it could have come from a vintage wedding gown. Skype is a wonderful invention being able to see loved ones, but I know what you mean about being able to hug them for real x
