LILAC BIRTHDAY

Good evening all,
 I hope you are well.
I have another card to show you and a little 'kind of sad' news
First of all this is my card I made over the weekend, using lots of gorgeous The Ribbon Girl goodies...

25mm Blackberry & Heliotrope Satin Ribbon, 32mm 'Clementine' Ivory Embroidered Tulle Lace, Chrysanthemums, 15mm Lilac Open Rose, Lilac Rose Buds, Prima Treasures Butterflies, 3mm Ivory Pearl String, 5mm Mixed Lilacs Flat Back Pearls, Gutterman Top Stitch Thread, Bronze Heart Charm and Lilac Hemp Twine.
The beautiful papers are by Pion.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My news is that I stepped down from two wonderful design teams this week and although I am sad at doing this my reason for doing it is a happy one...
You all know how I've longed for my family to come home from the States, well a month ago they did and are now living back here, last Sunday I was standing on a football pitch shouting to the top of my quiet little voice lol encouraging my grandsons in their football games and realised this is what I want to do now, I've missed 6 & a half years of them growing up and I don't want to miss any more, I want to be at as many games as possible to cheer them on and be there for them whenever I can, I've missed them so much.
I'm not giving up on card making I really love & enjoy it, I just want to spend more time with my family.
Special thanks to LHOSM leader Sara and the girls and to Becky, Jenny and the girls at A Creative Romance, I've enjoyed being part of these wonderful teams.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thank you for stopping by,
see you again soon with more cards
hugs

Go for it....family is the best memories you can cherish in your heart especially grandkids...i retired to babysit my first grandkids and lost a lot in my retirement pay but i am glad i did it because the happiness and memories i have now can 't equal anything...when you see those eyes looking at you and excited to see you and cheer them up in each game you wont regret it. Especially taking them to eat out after each game win or loose will be surely make your day...thanks for the beautiful cards you always created and inspired me to go on with my hobby...those cards i saw daily on the web gave me LIFE to think positive and get well so i can make cards when i am better ..that i am doing now...thank you again for sharing your artistic ability and creation .....love you.
