Back to School at Tilda's Town

Good afternoon crafters :o)

It's time for another wonderful challenge at Tilda's Town

and we are going back to school

I chose to use Traveling Tilda from the Bon Voyage collection

coloured with distress inks

and the little Magnolia bench & sign post too.

The papers are Pion, all gorgeous flowers and pearl brad are Wild Orchid Crafts, Marianne Createables butterfly, ribbon & pearl lace trim are from The Ribbon Girl. Magnolia bloomy tag and the doilies are from my stash.

The beautiful flower centre trinket on the ribbon was bought from my dear friend Craftyloops, she sells them on ebay aren't they pretty.

Good morning...

Monday morning ~ and I'm SO pleased to add that Mum is recovering, it it a stone behind the kidney, she's been put on antibiotics and they seem to be working, she was a lot perkier yesterday and not in so much pain, she had even eaten breakfast! So I am a very happy soul today, I shall be going to see her again later and will pass on your kind best wishes.
Hopefully this evening I might even add a card here.

Good news! just received a call to say she can go home, so I shall be going to fetch her shortly and   make sure she's settled in at home, I do love my dear Mum, I'm so pleased she's alright.

Signing off...

Hi everyone,
 I'm just letting you know I'm signing off for a few days as my Mum has been taken ill, she's in hospital and I need to be there when I can and take care of my Dad.
    I didn't want you thinking I'm ignoring you.

 ~ Good Sunday morning to you,
 just a quick update though not much to report, Mum's still in a lot of pain, she's not eaten for 3 days the Doctors think it may be kidney stones but still unsure. 
I will post again when I get time. Thank you for your kind messages to my Mum.

Tilda with wooden spoon

Good morning dear crafters, 

I'd like to start by saying a massive thank you to everyone who commented on my 3 cards yesterday, we had a day out so I only got to see them last night, I will be popping by your blogs today.

This is my all time favourite Tilda as you know, she was the first one I bought and even though there has been so many gorgeously cute Tildas since she remains my favourite. 

I've used the Maja papers, square paper doily, lace from Sunrise crafts and roses from WOC

Tilda was painted with distress reinkers

The Magnolia Tilda's lace tag is removable, with You mean the world to me sentiment and these gorgeous Sugar & Flour charms

Yes we are using just sentiments as our main feature

This is the Joanna Sheen sentiment set called

For this card I've used the Pion papers including the butterflies and kraft backing card, 

Wild orchid crafts rose trim and flowers are Kort & Godt beaded roses.

Helloooo!  I'm back and this time with a Christmas card, this week at Here come the Boys we have a great sketch that Woo created for us, it's a good un' too.

I love a great sketch to work with.

Edwin in Miami for ATSC

So I'm going to get straight to business and start with Addicted to Stamps

I have just bought this cute Edwin in Miami (no I'm not going to recycle him lol) I just couldn't wait to colour him.

Good morning Crafters,

If I knew how to add music to my blog I'd be blasting out 'I feel good' by James Brown this morning  but I don't so you'll just have to sing along with me lol, I'm up, showered and got my work done, how about that for 8.30 in the morning :o)

Tilda with lovely (Blueberry) Jam

Hi Everyone,

 Just a quickie to say thanks for all your lovely comments on my Christmas Tilda card and to let you know how it went at the hospital, I had been suffering some bad headaches & ear ache, so I had a MRI scan done, that was back in April and I was extremely relieved to find out yesterday that it was all clear I'm fine yippee!

This is just a quickie post as I'm off to the hospital today but more about that later,

Anyway this is the Tilda with a cute lamb, one of the new Christmas stamps, coloured in distress reinkers.

The matching tag is the Magnolia So Lovely Heart Tag and I've stamped this lovely bow & flowers on it to match the one I stamped on Tilda's picture. 

I've also used this gorgeous gold wired ribbon.

I've been busy not just gardening but finishing off this one for a few challenges.
