THE RIBBON GIRL MAGNOLIA ONLY CHALLENGE ~ BIRTHDAYS

Good morning dear Crafter's, 

I hope today finds you fit and well. 

What has happened to the weather? it's so wet & windy out there, just as I was enjoying the beautiful warm sunshine, it motivates me to get things done and I loved being able to go out without wearing woolies or a coat, oh well I suppose the ducks are enjoying it, roll on Summer.

It's the Magnolia Only Challenge today at The Ribbon Girl and the theme is Birthday Cards

For this challenge I've painted up this lovely Tilda with flowers and used the new Magnolia Corner Leaf stamp, I added lots of tiny die-cut Hydrangeas and butterflies.

I loved making this one and I used these gorgeous products from The Ribbon Girl 

Lace Patch Antique White, 17mm 'Lavinia' Ivory Fine Lace, Natural Hessian, Wooden Dress Button, 3mm Flatback Pearls, Bronze Key Charm, 20mm & 10mm Ivory Open Roses, Mini Rose Buds and Stickles Stardust Glitter.

Girly Creations at A Creative Romance

Good morning

It's time for another A Creative Romance Challenge and this week were making Girly Creations

I've used Tilda with Poppy and coloured her with distress inks

My papers were from my dear friend Sue 

thank you Sue :)

I made the large flower using hydrangeas, the daisies, twine, pearls, heart charm and heart frame are all from The Ribbon Girl. Berries & other flowers are Magnolia.

Lovely Hanglar Or Sweet Magnolia ~ Add a Sentiment Challenge

 Good Afternoon Crafters,

'Add a Sentiment' is the new challenge at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia today

Tilda at the Beach

This is where my holiday to Aberdovey comes into play :)

Maja Design Vintage lady

Good morning,
 I was sure I had posted this card but after going back over lots of pages on my blog I can't see it so I'll put it down to my age lol and maybe I've used this lovely image so many times before but I just love these Maja papers.

27th Apr Magnolia Only Challenge at The Ribbon Girl ~ Buttons & Bows

Good morning

Today is the Magnolia Only Challenge at The Ribbon Girl and the theme this month is

Buttons & Bows

I used these lovely Ribbon Girl goodies

45mm 'Blanche' Embroidered Net Lace, Sea Moss Seam Binding, 3mm Ivory Pearl String, 10 & 20mm Ivory Open Roses, White Chrysanthemum, Rose Buds, Wooden Heart Button, Green Hemp Twine and Stickles Stardust

I used Pion paper, stencilled the brick wall down the side, added a paper doily and basket of eggs. 

A few people asked about the eggs, they are not chocolate eggs they are just small embellishments for cards, my daughter sent them to me from America, I think she got them from Hobby Lobby.

Best Times

Thought I would share a scrapbook page with you today, this is my youngest son Kieran and myself on the way to Jamestown, he's like his mum doesn't like having a photo taken but I do love this one. 

I used Maja Design papers, I did some stencilling, stamping and throwing a bit of ink about and I think it worked. I got my inspiration from the wonderfully talented Gabrielle Pollacco.

I added a little bottle of seashells, 

the roses, cheesecloth, lace, button twine, key charm & the large burlap flower from The Ribbon Girl
