Ribbon Girl Anything Goes Challenge

Good morning :)
It's time for another Challenge over at The Ribbon Girl today... Yeah!
and it's a nice easy one to get us started and with a fabulous prize!
I painted up this Tilda with flower and made a Spring looking card because I just can't wait for Spring and the brighter days with warmth it brings (hopefully :) )

From The Ribbon Girl I used

19mm Ivory Floral Lace, 'Rebecca' Lace,  25mm Pink Satin Ribbon, Resin Dove & Flower, Small Lilac Beaded Berries, Kort & Godt Lilac Rolled Rose & White Chrysanthemums, Daisy-May Watering Charm, Darjeeling White Blossom Flower, Wild Orchid Pale Pink Tulips, Sugar & Spice, Liking Lilac & White Pearls (coloured yellow) Mixture of Wild Orchid Roses, Stickles Stardust.

Boxes, boxes, boxes :)

Hello again, 

I've been asked quite a few times how I make my boxes for my cards, well I'm sure there's lots of tutorials out there but this is how I make mine, quite simple really.

These are 6" square

First I choose a good quality card, this is my favourite it was recommended to me by my lovely friend Sue (playingwithpaper) on Docrafts,  I buy the card here

1) First I cut out two squares... 

  One at 8" Square (for the Base) and score it at 7" all around

and the other 8 & 1/8" Square (for the Lid)

and score it at 7&1/8" all around

Next I cut into all the corners like this

 and fold at all the scored lines

 Glue in the corners like below

 and there you have it, one base & one lid! 

and for posting I use these brown Pizza style boxes below

FLORAL CRISS CROSS CARD

Good morning dear Crafters, 

I hope you are well today, I bought some new floral papers and couldn't wait to make some cards with them, this is the first of three, I think this was probably my favourite.

I used Floral Lace, Khaki Satin Ribbon, Cherry Blossom & Daisy and this cute little birdhouse which is one in a pack of 3 by Prima all from The Ribbon Girl

Winter Blues ~ Midweek Magnolias

Good morning dear Crafters,

It's time for another great challenge over on the Midweek Magnolias blog today

and the theme is Winter Blues

I painted up North Pole Tilda (she's one of my favourites) I used Maja Design papers, sentiment tag is an LOTV one.
from The Ribbon Girl I used Faux Hessian Ribbon (I made a little flower & added roses) Silver metallic twine, blue roses, chrysanthemum, Stickles, Snowflake charm & Blue pearls.

I'm back with another card for

 Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia Challenge

today's challenge is Ribbon or Trim

For this one I used my fave Tilda and painted her with distress reinkers

Magnolia Cherry paper & green tablecloth paper

Little cookie cutters heart & Gingerbread man.

The charm on the tag is Milk Jug & Sugar

and from The Ribbon Girl I used these sweet goodies;

 20mm Edwina Cream Deep Scalloped Lace, Rebecca Lace, Miniature Rolling Pins, 25mm Dark Sage Green/Cream Check Ribbon and Cherries Charm.

I used a pale Silver colour Satin Ribbon, Blanche Lace, Floral Heart Charm, Gold Metallic Twine, Rebecca Lace, Ivory Roses, all from The Ribbon Girl

LILAC MAGIC CARD
