Good morning my dear friends,
I hope all you Mums had a wonderful Mothers day yesterday, I had a lovely day myself and a little giggle too because my eldest Son bought me a card (with money inside) & chocolates, he finished work at 5.30am and waited for me to get up before going to bed himself to get some sleep, when I opened my card it says 'Happy Mothers Day Nan' poor lad couldn't apologise enough lol,
he said he saw the cute bear and thought I'd like it, but didn't read the top message as he just expected it to be Mothers Day, well I did love it and he wondered off to bed exhausted saying goodnight Nan :o) bless him lol
I also managed to finish off this card yesterday for a few challenges.

ReplyDeleteLol at your Mother's Day card :o) My MIL is Polish and only speaks a little English - she seems to just pick up any card she likes and doesn't notice what it says on the front, we've had some very random ones! Lisa x

ReplyDeleteHow funny, I bet your son was cringing. My daughter telephoned to say she needed my help with the card she was making me but couldn't ask me, so I directed her to my favourite blogs for some inspiration, in the end I had a lovely MUM card full of pretty flowers. I do love it when she has a go at making cards for me. She is not a cardmaker in any way, but I love that she tries just for me.
Anyway Teresa, I love your card today, the flowery paper you have used is beautiful and the colouring as always is lovely. Good luck with the challenges. Linda x

Oh Teresa what a beautiful card! I too must have a go with my sewing machine. I bought it and Have NEVER even threaded it up :-( There are so many techniques I want to have a go at but time just seems to escape me. Apologies for being missing in action for so long!

I'm back (from Penang) in Kuala Lumpur now to go to the Dentist on Friday (we've come here to get some crowns done, MUCH cheaper than Oz and high standard too) Hope MY trip to the dreaded D is not too painful too, the first part wasn't much fun :-) Donna xx
