More piccys ~ Places I visited in America

Not the Craft shops lol...this time it's the other beautiful places we have visited :o)
This is the Virginia State Capitol,  it's fantastic inside and very interesting too, we had an old gentleman guide who took us around inside and he was so funny.
The gardens had been left to overgrow because of the filming of the movie Lincoln was about to start late October, I must look out for that film when its on the cinema, I have stood in the same rooms as Daniel Day Lewis & Tommy Lee Jones lol
(Not to mention our Queen & US Presidents)
This is my Mum, this photo was taken at The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, my Mums a big fan of all things Native American and loved this part in particular, I enjoyed the paintings and my Son loved the Ancient Egyptian, this was another superb place to visit.

The Jefferson Hotel, (real posh)
omg this place was beautiful, if you've ever seen 'Gone with the Wind' you will know of the famous staircase in Gone with the Wind
well that staircase was taken as a replica of this one in The Jefferson Hotel
Below is a view from the top of those stairs
(Below) The outside
We had to stop and have tea there it was gorgeous and they had a fabulous little gift shop at the back, I bought amonst other things a Jefferson Tea cup it was so classy I loved it.

and one of the little replica villages at Jamestown
Jake & Jed trying on the armour
That was a brilliant day...from there we went onto Williamsburg

More coming shortly!
